It’s time to part like it’s 1991 (that’s how you say it right?), because Bungie is celebrating their 30th anniversary in Destiny 2!
Join Guardians from all across the globe in a big celebration featuring icons of Bungie past, like the infamous Halo: Combat Evolved Magnum coming as a new exotic sidearm and a new 6-player activity free to all players. For player who purchase the 30th anniversary pack, you will be rewarded a heap of new armor ornaments inspired by the Marathon franchise, a streetwear set that takes after iconic characters like Bungie’s very own community manager Dylan Gafner (with his signature beanie), and finally a Thorn set for each class. Players will also be privy to a new dungeon called the Grasp of Avarice hosted by the exotic vendor Xur (and his cosmic horse), and will also be able to obtain the infamous Gjallarhorn exotic rocket launcher. All players can also find new guns inspired by the Halo franchise to slay with as well as legendary weapons from the original Destiny. Lastly, owners of the 30th anniversary pack will also claim 4 new emotes, a flaming tiger helmet ornament, a new exotic sparrow, and exotic ship to show off.
That’s not the end of it, as the event also coincides with the annual Moments of Triumph, asking players to celebrate their past achievements before the years end and the beginning of the next chapter of Destiny, The Witch Queen in February.
